A leading marketing and creative agency based in Los Angeles, partnering with top brands to deliver impactful campaigns across digital, print, and experiential platforms is looking to grow. Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for the finance team. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy client relationships and ensuring timely and accurate revenue collection.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send client invoices according to contract terms and project milestones
Track and manage accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due accounts
Post payments, reconcile client accounts, and resolve discrepancies
Work closely with project managers and account teams to ensure accurate billing
Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payment status
Prepare regular AR reports for leadership and assist with month-end close
Support internal controls and documentation for audits and reporting
Identify and implement improvements to the AR process for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounts receivable or billing experience, ideally in a marketing, media, or professional services environment
Strong knowledge of billing procedures, client communication, and collections best practices
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Experience working with creative teams or project-based billing is a plus
